It is a wholesome and necessary thing for us to turn again to the earth, and in the contemplation of her beauties to know of wonder and humility.-Rachel Carson

Why Whole Food Supplements? You may have noticed that all three of the basic supplements I suggest are
whole foods based. There’s a reason for that. After 20+ years of researching
supplements, I am firmly convinced of the power of having nutrients delivered to
your body in the form nature designed. Regular vitamins are a food’s active ingredients that have been concentrated
and often synthesized and then given back to us in ratios and concentrations
that are dissimilar to how they exist in natural foods. The other complex
organic compounds and phyto-nutrients that buffer, support and complement the
vitamins are missing. Whole food supplements, on the other hand, offer nutrients in the way nature
intended them, or at least as close as you can get without eating the food
itself. The government now recommends that we eat 5-9 fruits
and vegetables a day. It’s difficult to eat that much without overeating. Since
most of us live busy lives, lives where cooking and eating three completely
balanced, nutritious meals a day takes more time, energy and knowledge than we
have to give, it’s easy not to eat as well as we would like. Poor nutrition
often happens accidentally. While not a replacement for a healthful diet, the
Pops do help fill the gap. Healthy Bowels = Happy Life You may also notice that both the Pops and Noni have
a strong orientation towards keeping your liver and digestive systems working
well. This, too, is intentional. Your liver helps your body eliminate what it
can’t assimilate. And if you can’t assimilate something you certainly don’t want
it sitting around in your body with nothing to do. A healthy liver improves your
immune system, which in turn reduces your chances for cancer and many other
degenerative diseases. Both Noni and the Pops help stimulate your body’s
natural enzyme system, which, again, urges your digestive system towards healthy
functioning. One of my medical school professors was famous for his statement
that “ A good set of bowels is worth more to a happy life than a good set of
brains.” My twenty plus years of clinical practice has consistently reaffirmed
how true his statement was. Both Noni and the Pops help align your digestive
processes by encouraging precise functioning of your enzymes on a cellular
level. This helps your digestion and we all know how unpleasant a dysfunctional
digestive system can be. I doubt I need to elaborate on this point. Recent research strongly concludes that everyone
would do well to enhance their digestive flora by taking additional friendly
flora. Traditionally, most diets around the world included fermented foods…
Mead, sauerkraut, miso, pickles, just to name a few, were all eaten raw; thereby
preserving the natural flora that grew during the fermentation process. Now,
even if we eat these foods, they are generally pasteurized or heated in their
packaging process. Heat kills off the natural friendly flora. Unless you ferment
things at home, very few raw fermented foods remain available to eat. Since it
is difficult to get enough friendly bacteria through our foods, it is comforting
to know you can get them in your Pops. An Ounce of Prevention… In conclusion, my recommendations come to you after thorough examination of both the latest nutritional research and the supplement market. I chose this combination of supplements because it is a comprehensive whole food regimen that provides both high quality protective nutrition and is reasonably priced. You’ll spend approximately $100 a month if you follow my plan, a bit more if you are take calcium. But, you’ll be getting quite a bargain for high quality products. By combining friendly flora, digestive enzymes and
antioxidants with the nutritional boost of the fruits and veggies into one
product, the Pops alone save at least $75 a month. Taken alone the individual
ingredients could easily cost over a $100 without the Noni or Omega 3 Oils and
you’d still be missing some of the extras the Pops provide (like the Luetin for
your eyes, and Indole-3-Carbinol for breast health). Remember, you are in your body for the long haul.
Taking care of it just makes sense. These are supplements that plan for the
future. They encourage cellular health, which in turn discourages the
degenerative diseases that make aging uncomfortable. I hope that you choose to invest in your health and happiness by choosing proper supplementation. You’re worth it. To your health, Steve Hall MD PS For your convenience here are the links again for
